1. Use of the Site

You may use the Site for lawful, personal, non-commercial purposes only. You agree not to:

• Use the Site in any way that violates applicable law;
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site, its servers, or connected systems;
• Submit false, misleading, or another person's information through any form on the Site;
• Interfere with the operation or security of the Site.

2. Program Information Is Not Medical Advice

Information on the Site about therapeutic riding and equine-assisted activities is provided for general informational purposes only. It is not medical, psychological, or therapeutic advice and is not a substitute for consultation with a qualified healthcare provider. Participation in NDR programs is subject to a separate application, eligibility review, and any required releases or waivers.

3. Donations

Donations made through the Site are processed by third-party payment processors and are subject to those processors' terms. NDR is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, and donations are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. Unless otherwise stated, donations are non-refundable. If you believe a donation was made in error, contact us at office@ndrtherapeuticriding.org.

4. SMS / Text Messaging Terms

Program description. By providing your mobile phone number and checking the consent box on one of our forms, you agree to receive text messages from NDR Therapeutic Riding. Depending on what you opt in to, these may include:

• Program and service messages: lesson and visit reminders, schedule changes, weather or facility closures, application follow-ups, and replies to your inquiries.
• Updates and outreach messages: news about our programs, volunteer opportunities, events, and fundraising campaigns.

Consent is not a condition of service or donation. You do not have to agree to receive text messages to participate in our programs, volunteer, or donate.

Age requirement. You must be 18 years of age or older to use this SMS service.

Message frequency varies based on your interactions with us (typically up to 8 messages per month).

Message and data rates may apply. Check your mobile plan for details.

Opt out. You can cancel at any time by replying STOP to any message. You will receive one final message confirming you have been unsubscribed, and no further messages will be sent unless you opt in again. You may also reply STOP to opt out of any single message program.

Carriers. Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Privacy. Information collected through our text messaging program is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Mobile phone numbers and SMS opt-in consent are never sold or shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes.

5. Intellectual Property

All content on the Site, including text, photographs, videos, logos, and graphics, is owned by NDR or its licensors and is protected by copyright and trademark laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute Site content without our prior written permission, except for personal, non-commercial sharing that credits NDR Therapeutic Riding.

6. Third-Party Links and Services

The Site may contain links to or tools from third parties (for example, social media, chat, and payment providers). NDR is not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of any third-party site or service.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Site is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, NDR, its directors, staff, and volunteers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site or our communications.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Riverside County, California.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes take effect when posted on this page with a new "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the Site after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.
